Our Message

I am appalled over the argument used by many that global warming is a hype.  The entire debate has been cast as political propaganda by those advancing a specific agenda of irresponsible consumption of our natural resources, generation of uncontrollable waste and dumping billions of tons of harmful toxins that is destroying mother earth, all in the name of unbridled economic progress.  Personally, I do not want to be a party to this debate where some people have deeply entrenched positions and will never budge from these.

As humans, we owe it to ourselves and our future generations that we take care of, and improve the environment in which we live.  We are taught from a very early age to keep our surroundings clean and use basic civic sense, so we can establish clean communities that we can enjoy with our neighbors, friends and fellow citizens.  We share our planet with a number of species, animals, sea life and precious habitat on which we all depend.  It is imperative that we become good custodians and stewards of mother earth, whose bounties we all share. 

My message is simple. let us start out by making whatever small effort we individually can to help.  

Our going Green Initiative mission is to spread awareness among our next generation about Recycling, Reducing, and Reusing existing products to save our planet for future generations to come.

What better place to start than the youth and the students, who are the future, and custodians of our planet.  The bedrock of our initiative is to:

•   increase awareness about the dangers of excessive waste that is ravaging mother earth

•   introduce viable products that greatly reduce waste by encouraging reusability

•   inculcate environmentally responsible behavior that reverses the destruction wrought by years of    irresponsibility that is part of our lives

•   fundamentally change our life style to voluntarily adopt the 3 R's to give our planet a chance 

Our initiative is spearheaded by famous Redskin's veteran, Leonard Ray Brown, Jr.  Ray Brown is launching this campaign to local schools, universities, local and state governments of the Commonwealth of Virginia, Washington DC and Maryland.  In addition, a key thrust of Ray Brown's initiative target's sports teams at all levels.
